Brewed only at hop harvest time (Sept/Oct), Hop Nouvelle is a pale ale made with approximately 45kg of freshly picked hops from a local farm. The result is unique hop flavour and aromas similar to using fresh herbs when cooking. This year's brew is made with Ernest hops. Developed in the 1950s, Ernest was shelved for having American style hop flavours, but has seen a resurgence within the last 5-10 years. If you like your beer hoppy, this one's for you.
